Supporting Children with Anxiety
A self-paced course to support parents, caregivers, teachers and anyone working with children who may have anxiety.
The Anxiety NZ team is pleased to offer this course to help children and their whānau who experience anxiety.
The mental wellbeing of our rangatahi (youth) and tamariki (children) in Aotearoa is a pressing concern. Research shows that mental health challenges can follow individuals throughout their lives, shaped by the everyday stresses we all face.
By learning how to support the children around you, you'll also discover valuable strategies for your own well-being.
Our training offers practical, easy-to-understand guidance on helping children and young people manage anxiety.
This micro course is designed to give you some easy to implement tips to support your child with anxiety and/or anxious feelings.
Do remember that this is a short, self-paced course and as such there are limitations to the extent of the support it can provide.
